Chinua Achebe was a Nigerian writer influenced in the 1900s and his three papers were classified as "Home and Exile". In his story, he discussed about his own warts, colonization problems, the power of stories and more topics. Most of his paper is about his view on colonialism, the impact on the hometown of Nigeria, and how others' stories will help to defend or reject colonialism.

The story of the American Revolution is a legend of thirteen colonies who contested independence with colonial ruler Britain. For imperialism, Europeans dominated Africa for nearly a century and made colonies in the second half of the 19th century. Several colonies took advantage of guerrilla warfare for counterattack, other colonies helped European forces fight their own wars. By 1960, many colonies became independent, African imperialism soon ended.
