College Admissions Essay: My Private Vietnam

My personal Vietnam is an endless identity collision. Part of me is American, some of me is Vietnamese. I have characteristics of Asia, but I have a tall and wide shoulder. I can not accept any culture. Vietnam is bittersweet for me. I will not be born without war. If there were no US soldiers there, I would not be American nor living in America. The pain is that I do not know who my father is. I have neither his name nor social security number. I am hoping for a real family to return home during the holidays.
