Collective bargaining is the process of a series of negotiations between employers and trade unions, including the conditions and typical cases of collective bargaining that the parties agree to terms of employment. These conditions may include wages, working hours and working conditions (Budd 229). Collective bargaining may occur in several areas from politics to sports. It allows for proper resolution of conflicts and problems that will benefit both, resulting in unilateral results.

In the United States, collective bargaining is being conducted with labor union leaders and corporate managers who employ union workers. The result of collective bargaining is known as collective bargaining agreement, which sets a certain number of employment rules. Partners pay fees for such representatives in the form of association fees. If the parties encounter difficulties reaching an agreement, the collective bargaining process may involve a confrontational labor strike or an employee's detention

Most strikes are done by trade unions as the last resort during collective bargaining. The purpose of collective bargaining is to allow employers and labor unions to agree on wages, allowances and working conditions. The collective bargaining agreement may include clauses prohibiting strikes by trade unions during the contract period, known as "prohibition of strike clauses". After the Second World War, the United States appeared soon without strike clauses. Some labor movements think that strike clauses will not unnecessarily damage unions during the collective bargaining process.

In order to answer the above questions, we need to first understand the basic knowledge of collective bargaining. There, collective bargaining is defined as a process of translating differences into agreements in an orderly fashion. Collective bargaining is the process of establishing a series of rules and decisions mutually agreed between labor unions and employers regarding problems related to employment. This is a regulatory process that includes management and employment terms. Collective bargaining is used as a process of negotiation between employees and employers, and unions are representatives of employees. The whole process depends on the parties' bargaining power.

Collective bargaining in education includes the process of interaction between teachers and the Board of Education and negotiation of employment conditions. As with other forms of collective bargaining, the process of collective bargaining in education leads to a legally binding agreement, but this can not be changed only by one person. If changes are necessary, the parties must participate in negotiations to reach the new agreement. Employers are obligated to provide relevant information to unions in the process of collective bargaining but they only need to provide specific information. For example, if an employer claims to be unable to make a raise request due to economic problems, the union has the right to demand documents supporting the employer's assertion. The employer must also provide employee's current salary and benefit information on request.
