Colin Powell

My written report is a brief history of Colin Luther Powell. He was born on May 5, 1937 at the Presbyterian Hospital. He was born and raised in South Bronx, New York. Drugs and gangs Powell lived had a great influence, but he seemed to be far from all of this (source, page 23). Powell's parents are immigrants from Jamaica. His mother's name is Muad Ariel McKoy. In Jamaica, McCoy has seen a sugar cane plantation. She and her mother (Colin's grandmother) came to America.

Colin Powell has a very interesting background. First, Colin Powell was born on 15th April 1937 at Harlem Presbyterian Hospital (Hughes 19). In addition, Collin was born in Harlem, but for the most part of his childhood he lived in the South Bronx (Hughes 190). In addition, Colin Powell encountered several problems when he was young, but there was nothing serious (Hughes 24). But on the other hand, when Colin was offered work one day, he accepted it. The owner reminds me that Colin was diligent (Hughes 30). In a nutshell, the childhood of Colin Powell, like the rest of the world, is almost average.

Colin Powell has many unique experiences. For example, Colin Powell first met Alma Johnson on a blind date. This is the beginning of an 8 month relationship (Hughes 60-61). Later on August 25, 1962, Alma Johnson married Colin Powell at the first congregation church in West Central Birmingham (Hughes 64). Sadly, Colin's father, Luther Powell died of liver cancer (Hughes 112) in his queen's house in April 1977. In June 1987, Colin Powell's son Michael Powell played the jeep he was driving. He was thrown into the jeep and the Jeep landed on him. He had to return to civilian life (Hughes 124). Nonetheless, in 1991, Colin Powell received a Spanen medal for his achievement (Meyerson 726). Overall, Colin Powell has many experiences and experience in its own way.

Colin L. Powell was born in Harlem, New York on April 5, 1937. All immigrants from his parents, Jamaica, teach the importance of Collin Education and personal achievement. With this in mind, Collin Powell graduated from high school in 1954. He continued studying geology at the University of New York City University. It was there; during his geological study, Colin Powell began his military trip. The old skyscraper was on my way to school. It is a drilling hole for the Preliminary Officer Training Corps (ROTC). He soon joined the program as soon as he found it. In the next four years, it has become the focus of Colin 's life.
