Clashing Visions: A Future Founded in Literary Fantasy

Authors George Orwell and Philip K. Dick are not optimistic about the future. They are foreseeing the era of totalitarian rule and oppressive dictatorship. Both may be affected by the turmoil in the first half of the 20th century, the view only differs slightly. Here we compare the views of the two authors and present their similarities and differences. Through this, I propose juxtaposition of the two places and their surroundings; a wonderful view of the distant future.
