City of Edinburg - Pay Your Utilities Bills Online

Edinburgh City is proud that two residents have announced new ways to pay utility fees. From today on June 24, 2011, residents can pay invoices online or by phone.

Automated online service will be made available through Edinburgh City website, and can be reached by phone at 1- (877) 543-8351

You can make payments, view account information, schedule recurring payments, and view payment history.

An example of the evolution of service design can be explained in the "utility bill payment process". Before you can pay your invoice online or on your mobile phone, you have to go to a post office or utility center to make a payment. The lack of design was very obvious when payment of online invoices was first introduced. The process of trying to change the payment of an ongoing invoice is almost impossible. To add 'business', involvement of a customer service representative is required. For the customer, changing the financial institution is very difficult because of the heavy burden of setting all these payments. Therefore, according to a survey conducted by NLCCDG in 2005, 75% of the cities in the US have introduced 5% of another Web for citizens to pay utility fees (IT Facts, 2005 ).
