Ringling Bros., Barnum & Bailey and only their P.T. Barnum and Linlin brothers each had their own travel circus before their greatest performances on the planet. Burnham's circus was originally known as the Great Travel Museum, Zoo, Caravan, Circus at PT Burnham, but was declared as the largest circus in the US in 1870 and soon became a topic (Bamham Timeline). This 48 1/2 1/2 x 27 inch poster dates back to 1919 and Ringling Brothers merged with Barnum & Bailey Circus. Ringling Brothers bought Burnham & Bailey in 1907 and produced a circus until they created a combined circus called "the greatest show on the planet". This poster will be sold at a circus souvenir auction collected by Richard Bennett who grew up in the Baraboo district. . Leslie Hindman's Auctioneer Photo Bennett spent a lot of time at Baraboo's Circus World Museum, but in 1964, Chipie Fox asked if he would like to become a clown in the original Ringling Brothers' winter dorm . Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey did not exist, but Bennett became "Raz-bo" and worked as a professional clown for 16 years.
In 1938, Frankback joined Ringling Brothers, Burnham and Bailey Circus as the attraction of their stars. He considers himself a scientist, not an artist, but he was in the circus for several years. He also gave the circus an exotic animal spread and brought them rare birds and reptiles, camels, elephants, trained orangutans, "gorilla gorillas", "monkey hills". It is an act consisting of over 600 monkeys. Back got married twice in his life, but never raised the happiness of his marriage. He retired to Texas and eventually died of cancer for his lifetime smoking habits. Frank Barker Zoo in Gainesville, Texas is named after Barker and originally started with retired animals. Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus claim to actively support education and protection of wild species. Elephant Circus' captive life includes shackles only 5 feet in length. In the wild, these elephants will have a natural area covering 2,300 square miles. By focusing on breeding breeding programs in North America and using animals for recreational activities these circuses recognize the greatest threat to today's wild elephant the human invasion and the loss of habitat I can not increase it.
