Christopher Columbus: Sailing for Spain

Christopher Columbus is a Spanish explorer. He is best known for his exploration since 1492. He hopes to reach Asia but finds a "new world". As he succeeded in finding a "new world" he was given a day devoted to him; it was a day to celebrate his achievement. Columbus was a wonderful explorer and he gave a lot of accomplishments on his journey. In addition to finding a "new world" he also founded the Hispanolilia colony and reached the coast of modern Trinidad and Venezuela.

When Christopher Columbus went from Spain to Bahamas in 1492, I thought he arrived in Asia, especially India. This is why the indigenous peoples of the Western Hemisphere and their descendants are still often called Indians, and the islands in the common areas explored by Columbus and his crew are known as the West Indies. The term "Western" indicates that these islands differ from the Asian regions already known by European people. Immediately after Columbus sailed for the first time, the Europeans seemed to be named as they thought the island was still close to the Asian coast.

A legendary explorer, Christopher Columbus, was born in a small town in Italy in 1451 and set sail for teenagers. Columbus believes that sailing west will be a faster way to reach India. He went to Spain's King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella. And they were very interested in this idea and eventually funded the voyage to Columbus. In August 1492, Columbus sailed with Nina, Pinta, Santa Maria. Two months later, Columbus and his crew arrived in the current Bahamas, and I was convinced that it was India. They were welcomed by local residents, Columbus received their own wearing money and hoped to discover using their wealth

When Christopher Columbus departed from Spain in 1492 he was trapped in the geographical perspective of the world and did not predict the continent between Europe and Asia. Since he departed to India - South China and Southeast Asia in the 15th century concept - pointed out that when he landed on a particular island he thought he left the Asian coast. On behalf of the Spanish Catholic monarch he captured the land and people for Spain and conveniently ignored the indigenous people's ownership of the indigenous government and the land.
