Christopher Columbus' navigation motivation in West India Christopher Columbus lived in the era of East Muslim expansion. With the collapse of Constantinople in 1453, direct land to India was closed by European businessmen and merchants, so it was necessary to find a way to India. Portugal spent several years navigating the Indian islands on the coast of Africa, but Columbus thought he had a better way: sailing to the west. Due to the failure of the Mooreans in 1492, Queen Isabella in Spain wanted to consider a proposal for a voyage to the west of Columbus.
On May 5, 1494, European explorer Christopher Columbus sailed westward to the West Indies, now landed in an area known as the West Indies and landed in Jamaica. This occurred during the second voyage to the West Indies. Columbus later heard about the Jamaican people from the Cubans known as Xaymaca, which explained it as "a blessed golden country." Columbus immediately discovered that Jamaica had no money. When Columbus arrived at St. Ann \ 's Bay, I found Arawak Indians who lived on the island. Initially, Columbus thought that the Indians were hostile as they attacked his men when they tried to land on the island. When he decided to merge the islands in the name of the Spanish king and queen, he was not intimidated. Columbus also needs trees and water and has the opportunity to repair his boat. He sailed along the coast and docked it in Discovery Bay. The Arawak people are also hostile to the Spaniard.
Christopher Columbus is an American entrepreneur. He envisioned his project by himself, spent nearly 10 years in poverty, and gathered funds to depart west to find a backdoor route to East India. Most of us can not begin to understand Columbus' unchallenged curiosity, the result of intellectual drive and navigation. Without GPS, most of us can not find a gift basket. Today, the reputation of Columbus is besieged. However, those who try to legalize the heritage of Genoan explorers may actually have even bigger goals. Mourning the statue of Columbus and his achievements represents the tradition of western freedom, liberty and rule of law in many ways. America is best to defend Columbus and to win this war. Nobody can save the world next time.
In the late 1400 's, Indians had spices and money so people wanted to go to India. In order to go to India, they have to sail Africa east. Christopher Columbus had the idea of departing west and arriving early in India. People did not understand the Americas and the Pacific. Because they do not know the size of the Atlantic Ocean, Columbus's plan is very good. Columbus told the plan to King John of Portugal and asked about the ship and money, and returned the gold coin to him. King John did not fund his expedition, so he handed his plan to Queen Isabella, and she told him to wait because she is busy fighting in the war. Columbus waited for six years until Queen Isabella won the war and gave him a boat and money.
