Christopher Columbus, Mariner, by Samuel Eliot Morison

Christopher Columbus was born in a port town in Genoa in Italy in 1451. His father was a wool weaver named Domenico Colombo. Christopher did not go to school when he was a boy. He and his brother Bartholomew helped their father by combining the original hair. Christopher has grown into a tall, redheaded, quiet and deeply religious person. He worked for his father until he was 22 years old. He went out with other Genoese boys to go out with the sardine fishing party and he sailed along the coast to the Corsica Island to do business for his father.

Occasionally there are other things after primary school and high school. Historian Harvard historian Samuel Elliot Morrison is the most prominent Columbus writer, author of multi-volume biography, and also a Columbus sea ship crossing the Columbus route. In a famous book Mariner, written in 1954, he talked about slavery and murder: "A cruel policy that was started by Columbus and pursued by his successor leads to a complete genocide ".

Both books were written in the late 1970s. In the first half of the century, the most famous historian in Columbus' life was Samuel Elliott Morrison. He wrote several books about Columbus, but the most extensive reading is Christopher Columbus, a sailor. (Note 3) Until the end of the 1970s, Morrison's Columbus account was considered to be the most authoritative. Both Marshall and Zinn books were written to fix Morison's speech so let's first explain Morison's view.

Harvard historian Samuel Elliott Morrison is a biographer impressed by Columbus, he agrees. Morrison continued.
