Born on July 16, 1923, Chris Argyris received his master's degree in psychology and economics from the University of Kansas in 1949 and received his Ph.D. In 1951 he served as head of organizational behavior at Cornell University. Currently he is the director of the Cambridge Monitoring Company in Massachusetts. Argyris is preparing to publish its own ideas on how to develop organizational development and development success. His initial research was basically about the impact on the appropriate organizational structure, control system and management people. Then he will focus on changes in the organization, in particular the change in excellent behavior.
