The American Historical Society (CHSA) is one of the oldest and largest organizations specializing in the research, recording and dissemination of Chinese-American history. The American Association of Chinese Society is the first Chinese-American Historical Society in North America. This paper analyzed the relationship between filial piety and women's role in modern Chinese society from the perspective of history and analysis. Ancient China was a male-centered society. Chinese women have no rights or privileges. In the early years of history, men dominated the Chinese society, but women were deprived of all rights primarily for men. Women do not have the right to state their opinion, but they must obey the men's decision. Ancient Chinese men and women did not assume the same responsibility. Women are subordinate to men in the rest of their lives. As their mothers, their greatest responsibility is to have a son, which is considered to be far more important than ancient Chinese girls. Women are often at home to work at home and are responsible for caring for children, cooking, and cleaning the house. Weaving, spinning and sewing are their jobs. Women's responsibility to men is totally different. They are considered powerful and intellectual, they are scholars or soldiers. Men are rulers of these families. They are responsible for cultivation, trading and selling.
