China's Most Popular Domestic Trade Status If the US is willing to support China's violation of an already established agreement, first focus on rules and laws. Under the terms of MFN treatment, extension of tariff concessions of a country can guarantee the same concessions to all countries related to it through a commercial agreement. The conditional MFN status in the US provides the signer with the opportunity to negotiate the MFN status if MFN processing also extends to another trading partner.
