Introduction: Chimpanzees are part of a non-human primate organization. We have a common ancestor, but evolution has pushed us to various directions. But this common ancestor intrigues humans about these living things. As explained in Jane Goodall 's video "Wild Chimpanzees", we were human beings because we used tools, but once you observe nonhuman primates with a tool, this perception will change forever. . The question is whether the chimpanzees we studied with captivity are making a difference from studying the wild chimpanzee.
As far as it is being studied, it is well known that chimpanzees use tools. Andrew Whiten discovered that chimpanzees not only use tools, but also use the same method as most people in the group. This bias of consistency is also common in human culture and is often referred to as peer pressure. In an experiment to study the sound behavior of birds, researchers Marler and Tamura found evidence of sparrow poem singing dialect. Located in the eastern and southern parts of North America, Zonotrichia leucophrys is a white crown bird that learns vocal behavior. Mallah and Tamura discovered that there is a variation of songs between each bird, but each bird group has a unique singing pattern that varies from place to place. Therefore, Marler & Tamura calls models in each region "dialect".
In October 1960, Jane Goodall observed the use of tools by chimpanzees. Recent studies have shown that chimpanzees use stoneware at least 4300 years ago (around 2300 BC). An example of the use of chimpanzee tools involves the use of a large rod as a tool to drill termite mounds, followed by the use of a small rod to change the tool used to "catch" the mound. It is well known that chimpanzees use small stones as hammers, while large stones are used as anvils to break nuts.
