Children's Literature: Illustrated Storybooks

"The picture book is more than just an illustration storybook, the written text, fonts and illustrations are part of the story" (Lewis, 2001). The picture book has a deeper meaning behind words and illustrations. Combinations of written and visual languages ​​help to foster ideas and characters related to the social and personal experience of the reader.
