Recognizing the growing health challenge and its impact on the success of the school, the AFT Health and Safety and Welfare Department has created a new program focused on the health of the child.
Since AFT members and leaders are the frontline staff who teach and take care of our students, we want to hear their opinions as they shape our course. According to our findings, the three major health priorities for children are mental health, equitable access to health care and food security.
