Obviously, when using "unfamiliar situation" as the basis of measurements, infants participating in child's day care will be classified as unsafe attachments. However, the compatibility of attachments in 'unfamiliar situation' measurements as a comparison tool between child-rearing participants and children raised by their families has been critically examined (Clarke-Stewart, 1989; Lamb , Sternberg, & Prodromidis). The basis of a strange situation is to create a moderately stressful condition for infants and to determine whether the baby is seeking comfortable behavior from those receiving primary care.

Increasing non-material childcare and placement of children outside of home care has led to many discussions for decades on the effects of child development. Today, non parent parenting helps parents participate in child rearing. Data show that in the United States, the number of children under 6 years old is somehow a non parent parenting. In 1965, only 6% of children received nursing care at nursing homes. But by 1995 62% of mothers employed in the market had children under 6 years old, 58% had children under 2 years old. Child care is now an important part of family life to support employment of childbirth and gender equality

Parents insisted that family issues and child rearing are more immediate problems on both sides of the annual school discussion. In a typical nine month calendar, working parents must find care and summer care for all children. On a one - year schedule, parents do not need to worry about how to deal with children in the three - month summer. However, it is difficult to find child rearing for a certain period of time. Some school districts do not have a unified policy. Therefore, some children may go for 9 months, other children will go all the year.

Some children and carers who are not part-time have longer hours of awake than parents. Low-quality non-parenting parenting may mimic families from children in poor family environment due to adult encouragement and lack of stimulation. Many studies have shown that lack of stimulation seen in these families has a negative impact on the language development and cognitive function of children. Therefore, it is not surprising that growth of middle class families, like that of poor families, does not compensate for the adverse effects of parenting that is not a full-time parent.
