Over the years there is growing concern about children's sexual abuse at church. Churches and other facilities that house children already have experience with this issue, but most people concentrate on cruelty to the Catholic Church. Members of clergy and religious organizations are accused of sexual offense against children all over the world. Some of these incidents dates back several decades.
Several people attempted it, but the American Catholic Church does not comprehensively measure the full range of child sexual abuse. Rossetti, S. (1997). The pastor expressed the influence of child sexual abuse on the clergy, the church, and the Catholic faith in God. Psychology and Christian Journal, 16 (3), 197-209. The author investigated 1,775 North American Catholics about their emotions about clergy, churches, and gods. Samples were divided into three groups: those who did not know the allegation of sexual abuse in the parish (N = 501), those who knew the priests in their parish (N = 1,097), and those of their own A person allegation that was a parish priest (N = 177). As a result, the trust of the three groups of priests and churches has declined, but the trust of God remains unchanged. This study also shows that parishists are more likely to distrust the church on dealing with sexual misconduct and are unlikely to accept church doctrine about sex and morality. Rossetti discusses the need to expand the concept of victims to include parish churches and churches
