Outdoor games are a very important factor in the development of all children. "Outdoor environments are comfortable as well as supporting and encouraging skill improvement" (Sachs 4). Many disabled children are organized in an indoor environment and go-out games can provide them with many benefits (Christensen 1). An example of this is how children with autism benefit from nature.

The basic definition of outdoor games is to spend time participating in outdoor activities, not internal activities. This is a simple explanation, but playing outdoors is not simple as there are plenty of opportunities to play outdoors. It promotes creativity, social communication and imagination while positively influencing the development of children's social and motor skills. If someone has gone to the playground, it is set to invite the game and provide the material to the child. Children are open minds that they can create something from scratch, for example imagining a net climber. This is a tall structure that provides children with a sudden rock climbing experience. Children can strengthen the challenging structure, but create a story along the way. They can imagine themselves as captains of ships and try to drive their ships out of a bad storm.
