Interconnectivity is the subject of every aspect of Cherokee culture, from spirituality to medicine. Because they believe that everything in the world is relevant. They believe that spiritual energy influences their daily lives through all the components of the universe and balances these energies. All the constituents of the world are regarded as playing an equal and intentional role, not a dominant species, group, or society (Garrett 2001 pg 1).
The original drug wheel is spiritual energy, it is a protective wheel. There are four different colors for red, black, yellow, white wheels. Each color represents something, air, water, fire, and the earth. The ancient stone structure of the Medicine Wheel is located in southern Canada, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana. - In the history of Oregon, hundreds of thousands of people live, including dozens of native American tribes dating back to 9500 BC. As the tribe passed the Bering Strait, many chose to settle in the northwest. In the first region of the state of Oregon, there were people of the Karap family who lived in Oregon more than 8000 years ago, but Karapua is just one example of the state of Oregon.
Like other American Indian tribes, the traditional Cherokee therapist was an expert on medicinal plants. However, traditional Cherokee treatments involve the use of botanicals in most cases. It involves the use of speech and sometimes certain actions. Many traditional Cherokee people still go to treat these diseases to these Indian doctors. Due to the arrival of Europeans, Dr Cherokee does not know how to treat diseases in Europe. Some beliefs have evolved to require a white doctor to cure white diseases. Missionaries, school systems, government programs, and married life also weaken the Indian beliefs. Many Cherokee people began to rely wholly or partly on the medical treatment of Caucasian doctors.
Traditional Cherokee people may seek medical help, a dilemma of life, or other problems from the medical community. The number of people who live and practice today is small, but a few are still known to the Cherokee community's traditionalists and others. Medical professionals should not advertise or offer services in other ways. The right way to find medical professionals is to become a member of the Cherokee community, ceremonial venue, or family and to know that person through these connections. Please do not contact Cherokee Nation to ask for contact with a man or woman with a medical relationship or ask him to help me become a doctor
