In just over three years in New Orleans, Compton won the James Beard Foundation Best Chef Award in 2018 and now serves as a cooking ambassador for Saint Lucia. She recently opened the second New Orleans restaurant, Bywater American Bistro. As a wonderful proof, the bar was nominated for the 2018 Excellence Wine Program of the James Beard Foundation Award. "Bacchanal is one of my favorite local attractions," Compton said. "It's very close to where I live, I like the relaxing atmosphere, wine, cheese, cooked food and live music."
Nina Compton, born in Saint Lucia, is trained in the kitchens of France, the Caribbean, and Italy. She worked under the guidance of a famous chef Daniel Boulud and currently lives in Miami where he works for the famous chef Scott Conant. Nina is self-qualified "Queen of the face" and always has Maldon's salt, olive oil, lemon, caliber's pepper, pancetta and gunsial in hand. Nina strongly believes that you should enjoy this moment whenever you cook.
As a top chef's finalist, Nina Compton is ready to continue her life and career. Her trip was always exciting. Strangely, Nina launched agricultural research A level following the traces of her father's footsteps. She studied at the Beverly girls' school in Kent, a British boarding school. When I finished A level in 1997 and returned to Saint Lucia, she told my parents that I would like to work as a professional in food. Her parents suggested that she start with a local hotel, Sandals le Talk. After staying in this place for 3 months, Nina moved to Jamaica sandals, where he stayed for two years until the end of 1999.
