Makhmud Esambayev was a Chechen dancer born in music and spent his life in touching other people with his own power. Esambayev was born in Stariye Atagi, a small Circassian village at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains in 1924. About 20 km south of Grozny is the one of Chechnen's largest village.

Chechens and its territory were threatened from the 19th century to the 20th century. In particular, Chechens has worked hard on Russian intervention. In the nineteenth century, Chechens and other people of the North Caucasus protected their territory from Russian attacks. These struggles known as the Caucasian war lasted more than 70 years. Chechens and other people who took part in the war were cruelly repressed, and when the Russians tried to integrate their power into the realm, many were killed. Many Chechens have had to escape, many of whom moved to Turkey.

In 1994, the Russian helicopter was repelled by the Chechen fighter aircraft near the capital Grozny. In 1944, according to the order of the House Committee Chairman Laventi Tiberia, more than 1 million Chechens, Ingush, and other Northern Caucasians were deported to Siberia and Central Asia and formally cooperated with the invading German Army. The religious festival was re-welcomed. However, the war with Russia from 1994 to 1996 interfered with the new Chechen holidays and replaced Soviet holidays. Social structure is still damaged, holidays are not considered to be particularly important.
