In the late 16th century, this monument was built to celebrate the end of the plague. It is currently one of the most famous landmarks in Hyderabad.

Charminar Monument is an internationally recognized landmark in the heart of Hyderabad. With its spire and dome, it shows a typical Islamic design. A large prayer event was held on Friday, sitting on a beautiful mosque in the corner. Visitors rarely leave the city without going to Charminar and the surrounding markets (food and jewelry are everywhere). The monument was built in 1591 to celebrate the end of the pest epidemic in Hyderabad.

The building has four magnificent archs, a balcony and a dome, with a complex architectural style. The monument is made of granite, limestone and marble. Look at the four 29-foot spiers named Charminar.
