Roald Dahl (1916-1990) was born in Norwegian parents in Wales. He spent his childhood in the UK and worked at the African Shell Oil Company at the age of 18. When the Second World War broke out, he joined the British Air Force and became a pilot of a fighter plane. He moved to Washington, DC at the age of 26 and started writing there. His first short story was talked about his adventure in the war and was earned by the "Saturday Post" which led to a long and wonderful career.
After becoming an adult writer, when he lived with his family in the UK in 1960 Roald Dahl began writing children's stories. His first story is entertainment content for his children, many of his books are dedicated to them.
Roald Dahl is currently considered one of the most popular storytellers in our era. Although he died in 1990, his popularity continues to rise as his wonderful novels including James and Giant Peach, Matilda, BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory delight the growing fan base.
In 1964, Roald Dahl announced a novel for children called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The novel is centered on a poor boy named Charlie Bucket who visited the world's largest chocolate factory owned by Willie Wonka. I made two novels adapted from the movie. The first work was Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory later became a fanatical masterpiece, and the real world Willy Wonka Candy Company was born, which was producing chocolate products to date. 34 years later, Charlie and Chocolate Factory were made a second movie. The film of 2005 was warmly welcomed by critics, boasting revenue of more than 470 million dollars worldwide, it was one of the most highly rated movies this year. Charlie and Chocolate Factory were also acknowledged at the 78th Academy Awards and were nominated for Gabriella Pescić's best clothing design.
Charlie and Chocolate Factory (2005) were adapted from the book of the same name by Roald Dahl. Johnny Depp plays Willy Wonka, Freddie Highmore plays Charlie Bucket and Deep Roy plays Oompa-Loompas In this movie we use more faithful raw materials than the adaptations of Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory in 1971. My father (played by Christopher Lee) joined the issue of Wangka. Charlie and Chocolate Factory were nominated for Oscar of Best Fashion Design Award later. This film shoots more than 270 million dollars domestically. Burton, Depp and Danny Elfman had to deal with this and the Burton's bride at the same time, so it is difficult to shoot.
