A learner is a person who acquires new knowledge, behavior, skills, values, or understanding from individuals and circumstances. The learner gains new insight about that subject and will be in a more open position after that. Most people attend school to learn different characteristics and skills. Learning can be done by young people and adults, each with its own characteristics. Features of young learners Young learners have limited attention. That is because they are usually very curious and easily disturbed by surrounding events.

However, young learners have different characteristics from adult learners. One of them is that children are still developing cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical aspects (teach young students of knowledge testing: teacher's guide, 2010). In other words, when teaching with them, the teacher must first consider the development of mother tongue skills. Young learners like rhythmic and repetitive languages ​​than adults. They tend to use words more than adults and can participate more effectively through stories and games (Peck, 2009).
