Role conflict Many of the short stories we read in class have very interesting role interactions. In most stories these interactions create strong personality features. In addition, there are interactions through stories, so most characters have to face situations that may change their lives. As these roles are recognized in exploring their problems, most people can resolve their conflict with little regret and little harm.

Conflict: Conflict creates actions and intrigues of the story. This is a problem the hero is trying to solve. Contradiction can be both external and internal. The struggle between two opposing forces is called conflict. Every story has it. In order to understand the outcome of the struggle, the conflict keeps you reading the story. If the character fights naturally with another character or fights naturally with other characters, the conflict is called external confrontation. When conflict occurs in character, this is internal conflict.
