Character Analysis: The Personality of Oedipus

Authors can compare the main functions of their work by making use of the character of many small characters. Some of these comparisons are very obvious, others are not. One of the aspects is the use of a neutral personality; not only to indicate the defect of the hero but also to impair the meaning of the story.
