Chapter 2: Crime and Crime Causation

Criticize existing theories ignoring or underestimating women's theory as criminals, victims, people made by government officials. These theories are aimed at combining understanding of difference between male and female experiences and treatments while integrating other factors such as race and social class.

The theory of criminal causal relation can be divided into characteristic theory and selection theory. Both theories have effective perspectives on the causes of crime, but they have different implications for the causes of crime prevention. Article: Property theory and selection theory both assume that human beings are selfish, but the concept of self-interest limits the application of each type to a specific type of crime. Characteristic theory seems to be more suitable for explaining the cause of violent crime, and the selection theory is more suitable for property crime or economic crime.

In general, crime contains four elements. Mental state, behavior, synchronicity, and causality. Crime is defined by regulations that are legislation passed by Congress. The rules specify specific elements of each crime. Not all crimes are the same, as the regulation stipulates which elements constitute a particular crime. Mental condition factors are also known as crime intent and refer to the mental state of the accused at the time of crime. In deciding criminal responsibility, all the elements necessary for crime must be proved. Generally speaking, crime includes sinful mental state, sinful behavior, consent and causality.
