Jesus is a good shepherd - he gained the power of death from his father - he promised to visit his other sheep - he declared me to be a child of God

1 I will tell you the truth not to the sheep at the entrance but to the opponent who climbed in other way, thief and robbery.

Importantly, the Gospel of Matthew shows that the disciples of Christ were given healing power early in Chapter 10.
