Here we introduce two cases where indigenous teacher groups are changing the culture of school education. Rough Rock and Yup'ik teachers in southwest Alaska and Navajo teachers for many years work at the forefront of community schools and school education and apply their culture, knowledge and knowledge to building curriculum and pedagogy I am looking for a creative way to do. Languages These faculty groups have expressed a resistance to traditional customs and created a safe area in which innovative school education methods can be investigated and practiced. The work of these faculty groups is theoretically related to the preparation of teachers rooted in the community. Relocating these cultural creations to a wider range of school educational institutions is still a challenge.

Scholars provide strong culturally relevant leadership explanations for their multinational students and their influence on accomplishment. Lipka and Mohatt (1998), in order to more reflect the structure, atmosphere, curriculum and local students of the school and to make meaningful education for them, the group of teachers and the native Alaska (Yup'ik) elder I will explain how to cooperate closely. For 10 years, the teacher has translated, adapted and embedded Yup'ik's cultural knowledge into mathematics, culture and science courses. As supervisors of traditional knowledge resources and quality control, elders provide inspiration and moral power to teachers and to focus Yup'ik students' school education on student's own cultural orientation They continue their efforts. For example, in mathematics, teachers habitually establish relationships between Yupic computing systems, physical measurements, simple and complex calculations, geometry, pattern design, and mosaics.
