There were several key demands to restore Queensland's jury system. The current jury system is outdated and Ian Turnball (2001) stated, "Our jury system is a far past legacy of England." However, in order to change, we need to investigate the history, strengths and weaknesses of the jury system. Then allow other strategies and recommendations to be discussed to improve the effectiveness system.
