Change in Leadership and Strategy

Introduction In today's dynamic business environment, change is a constant element, so the dynamics of change need to have the skills necessary to maintain growth and success. Change personnel are considered administrators or leaders of various organizations. The leader achieved a performance improvement (it had to be changed quickly) while the administrator provided affordable expected results and occasional progressive improvement (promoting stability). This is where the strategy is driven by the leader (change driver).

According to the 2008 SHRM report "Transformation Leadership Strategy", the intensification of competition brought about by the knowledge economy and globalization will bring strategic change in critical leadership to the organization. 11 Given the trends in the business environment in the future, I am convinced that the most important leadership will include effective change management, human resources / team development and effective collaborators / network builder development 12. Drive, it is important to consider the main business trends of the future. 13 The Creative Leadership Center (CCL) identifies some of the future business trends that will affect the leadership skills needed to support the business (see Figure 3).

Today, in this business environment of unknown reality and a changing perspective, sophisticated and destructive leadership is more important than ever. Promoting a winning strategy in the era characterized by the rapid change in our survival in an increasingly unstable world requires skilled skill to cope with the organization's confusion. However, the disruption of business culture can lead to not only "destructive" (new buzzword) leader but also many leadership mistakes.

It is widely believed that resistance to change is often the collapse of it. For this reason, most change models, such as Kotter's eight steps, Lewin's three transformation stages, and the McKinsey 7-S framework, place people's leadership at the center of strategy. However, one person is overlooked throughout the literature on change management and the process of change. Changes to the conversion are usually described in Section 2. Transformation agent - a business leader who is making change - and a transformation recipient - there is an employee of change. Most of the business literature on change continues this perceptual dichotomy, most of which are directed to change agents.
