First of all, I would like to thank you for letting us discover new things about leadership and its broadest aspects, and how we can develop them in the workplace. Frankly, I was deeply impressed by the information I got from this book. Furthermore, in fact, he taught me how to positively think about leadership and some issues related to that contemporary issue. In addition, through my reading, this book shows me how the best leader is marked by continued effort, ability and attention to detail.
Starting with the pioneering work of Greenleaf (1970), servant leadership is a paradoxical way of leadership challenging our traditional concept of leadership and influence. A servant style leader emphasizes that the leader will focus on the needs of the followers, give authority and help foster all employees. The servant 's leader consciously chooses to serve to put the believers on the leaders' own interests first and foremost. They build a strong relationship with others, play a leading role in a way that is empathetic, ethical, and useful for the greater benefits of believers, organizations, communities and society as a whole.
Excellent leadership is an ongoing job and excellent leaders are surrounded by other people who challenge their way of thinking in order to make progress. They not only allow them to understand different perspectives, they can also help you decide what you might miss the right way. At some stage of their career, all the great leaders have come to the conclusion that only cruel facts are the only facts. Too many people are twisting the reality into a plate that is easy to digest. But dealing with this ambiguity is a leader's task, but we have relied solely on the resources available at the time to promote that organization.
Present contemporary research questions in a new way. History and philosophy have provided a perspective on this topic, revealing some of the leadership behavior patterns and leadership and ethics themes. They remind us that some basic issues on the nature of leadership are closely related to human condition. A study of the history of ethics and ideas helps us to understand the two global overlapping issues that drive most leadership studies. They: What is leadership? What is good leadership? One is leadership and explanatory problems. The other is about what the leader should do, or normative problems. These two problems are sometimes confused with literature. Advances in leadership research depend on the ability of scholars in the field to integrate answers to these questions. In this chapter we will explain the impact of these two problems on understanding of leadership.
