Challenges and Opportunities in Global Mental Health: a Research-to-Practice Perspective

GMH is at the turning point. So far, mental health has received less than the burden of health care [26]. However, the two major events in 2016 showed a change in the international development community and a commitment to global mental health: (1) The World Bank recognizes mental health as a priority for world development and (2 ) Unlike the Millennium Development Goals, we clearly incorporate sustainable development targets (United Nations Development Agenda), which will lead to the global and domestic agenda over the next 15 years. These two activities create unique opportunity windows for cross-sectoral work to increase mental health subsidies, research and capacity development programs. Capacity development for researchers, clinicians and decision-makers is necessary to overcome the barriers to the prevention and treatment of all mental disorders in a lack of funds situation. Research has been accelerating in the past 20 years and there are serious challenges remaining but in this area we will use this unique global policy on mental health to conduct research to practice opportunities to reduce the gap between GMH research and treatment I am ready to carry out. GMH's research needs to be consistent with policy development to adopt and expand evidence-based mental health programs in existing national health, education, and other public systems. Low-income countries and middle-income countries need to consider the best way to implement substantial changes in the mental health service system. GMH researchers are responsible for best communicating with the government how to support this transition.

Despite these challenges, research shows that people and machines work together to cope with the future of mental health. While mental health researchers are exploring how technology can improve mental health, there are attractive problems. For example, how can we help a human establish a therapeutic relationship with artificial intelligence? On the contrary, if human consciousness comes from machines, how do we encourage healthy cognitive development in virtual minds? The latest development of mobile technology, sensor device, artificial intelligence has created a new opportunity for mental healthcare research. Through extensive data sets collected in e-mental health research and practice, clinical researchers and members of the data mining community will establish individual predictive models for health monitoring, treatment options, and treatment We are united. The aim of this paper is to fill the historical and conceptual gap between distant research fields involved in this new collaborative research by providing a conceptual model of common research objectives.
