Association for conservation biology, global association of conservation experts held the first annual general meeting on the Asian continent this summer. Protection: Harmony between nature and society is organized by the Botanical Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences with over 1,200 protective scientists and practitioners from 74 different countries. This presentation covers a wide range of topics and geographical areas, but I especially pay attention to the challenges of Asia and its unique protection.
