In March 2016, the Transgender Act Center and the TGI Justice Project, the TAJA Alliance, and the Transgendered Health Excellence Center of the University of California San Francisco drafted housing policies for transgender detainees. The proposed policy was drafted as part of the San Francisco Sheriff's defense activity, which encourages the transgender people to be housed based on gender identity unless they oppose security issues. The Transgender Health Research Center (CoE) is the leader of internationally recognized HIV prevention research, as well as the nationally renowned training and capacity development organization, the unique strengths and resources of the AIDS Education and Training Center (PAETC) It is combined with HIV Prevention Research Center (CAPS). Both are located at the University of California, San Francisco. The ultimate goal of CoE is to improve the overall health and happiness of transformers by developing and implementing programs that address the needs identified by communities. We are taking a community perspective by actively participating in National Advisory Bodies (NAB), a leader of 14 heterosexual certifications gathered from all over the country. Our diverse and talented NAB collective experience ensures that our program addresses community-related issues in a timely manner

"In most states in the US, discrimination based on gender identity is legal," says JoAnne Keatley, Director of Excellence Center on Toxicity Health at the University of California, San Francisco. "You can refuse to hire alone or you can quit those who are relocated to be a transgender." This discrimination has a devastating effect on the economic well-being of the transgender people I will do it. According to the 2011 National Transgender Equality Center, transgender people live in extreme poverty conditions four times the average population, annual household incomes are less than $ 10,000, more than twice the general population. Ninety percent of the 6,450 transgender people who were homeless throughout the country point out that they are subject to harassment, abuse or discrimination in the workplace.
