The Workplace and Development Program is a federal government-funded service designed to help students work part-time and create lists of employment opportunities. Students can also contact various departments. The mission of CallMeMISTERĀ® (the instructor leads students to an acronym for modeling effective roles) is to increase the number of existing teachers from a wider variety of backgrounds, especially in the state's least performing elementary school. Student participants are chosen primarily from communities with insufficient services, social and economic disadvantages, and high educational risks.
