Everyone knows that drug users may encounter bad things. They are addictive. They may have even serious or fatal health problems. They can destroy their personal, social and professional life. They may even enter the prison. But why do young people begin to drink medicine? Why do young people take medicine? The first reason is simple curiosity. Many teenagers have heard about drugs and they want to experience drugs themselves. They heard that medicine is pleasant, they give different feelings to people, and they may cause different behaviors. Maybe they see their friends and family behave differently when they use medicine, they want to see how it feels. We are watching medicine on TV and movies everyday. Many young people met them at school, at home or nearby. It is not unusual for you to be interested in what you see or hear frequently. Another reason young people take medicine is to escape from reality. Perhaps their family life is not very happy. Maybe they are dissatisfied with their daily work, poor performance at school, or for some reason. For many people, medicine is a way to get rid of this unhappy reality. They can be more brave, stronger, smarter, more beautiful, more important. Of course, this does not last long, but it is not a problem. In a short time after drugs are affected, users can forget the problems, responsibilities and restrictions in their daily lives and escape from the fantasy world. It is not a secret that drugs change your feelings; it is the reason why they are so attractive to young people despite being dangerous. The young people also take medicine, feel calm, and impress the friends. If your friend is smoking marijuana, you may also suck. If they consume cocaine, they will offer it to you. If you do not want to try, they might tell you that you are scared like a baby. This kind of push to what your friends are doing is called peer pressure, which has a very strong impact on young people who do not want to complain about their friends. Some children just do whatever their friends do to adapt and follow the audience. Even if it is dangerous, like drinking medicine, they do not want to become the only person who does not do anything. Unfortunately, many young people are starting to get involved in medicine before fully recognizing the risks of health and addiction. They need to understand how young people first get involved in drugs so that they can become cautious. Many curious teenagers died when they first tried certain drugs like ecstasy. Other people have discovered that their temporary escape is a permanent addiction. Is it worth it?
