Many of Homer's epic characters are imitated with enade. Virgil often takes multiple Homer roles and integrates them into Aeneid's role. In some obvious examples, people are believed to be Aeneas, Achilles, Telemachus, Lavinia is Penelope and Helen, and the people of Did will see more: Arete, Alcinous, Circe, Calypso and Medea.
