Vince Guaraldi produced a hit single in 1963 and received the Grammy Award at Best Original Jazz. It was recorded in the album "Jazz Impressions Of Black Orpheus", released on April 18, 1962 by Vince Guaraldi Trio, and is currently on the CD of the Ojc record company. "Hitting your fate with the wind" is originally written by Vince Guaraldi, that lyrics is a selection of American jazz equipment written by Carel Werber. It received the Grammy Award for Best Original Jazz Works in 1963. It was recorded in the album "Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus" and Vince Guaraldi Trio was released on Fantasy Records on April 18, 1962. There are at least some copies in the album, the title of the label contains a typographical error; its content is an unconscious comic distortion of the emotions of the song "Please put your faith in the wind". Fantasy also released Guaraldi's single singles single in the US, ranked 22nd in the Billboard Hot 100 list and 9th in the Easy Listening list.
