Cartoon Violence, Has it gone too Far

Manga violence, it has gone too far due to aggression. Kill and kill. I will take revenge. It sounds like the latest Scream movie and Keanu Reeves thriller. You may be surprised to hear that this is drawing a manga on average Saturday morning. One of the most amazing facts is that the level of violence in comics on Saturday morning is higher than that of prime time. On Saturday morning, there are 3 to 5 violent behaviors per hour and 20 to 25 actions per hour (Gerbner, 1). In general, television violent cases damaged society.

Violence against cartoons is an integral part of manga content. In fact, the frequency of violence in cartoons is higher than the frequency of dramas and comedies of real people (Potter & Warren, 1998). As a result, teenagers tend to see violent events of media time more than during prime time in comics on Saturday morning (Gerbner, Gross, Morgan, & Signorelli, 1994). However, there is a qualitative difference between the violence depicted on the live TV series and the violence depicted in the cartoon. Manga violence means that young audiences are often accompanied by mild violent behavior (as opposed to adult animated films like heavy metals). Furthermore, it is rare to see victims suffering like life, so cartoons exclude the effects of violence.

Before understanding the impact of harmful cartoon violence on children, you first need to understand how easy it is for a child to be exposed to manga violence. On average, each child is watching TV for 28 hours a week, 54% of the children have a TV in their bedroom (Huesmann and Eron 13). Only these facts lay the foundation for exposure. Furthermore, about half of violence by television is manga (14). In fact, Saturday morning cartoon acts violent acts 32 times in an hour. It is obvious that this is not good for young people in the United States, as comics are rarely showing long-term effects of violence, and two-thirds of cartoons draw violence in a humorous way (Kreig 32).

Today it is widely believed that the violence depicted in cartoons may have an adverse effect on the behavior of an infant. The main purpose of this paper is to determine whether cartoon violence will affect the bad behavior of children in 3-5 years of age in the United States, or whether this description is just an inaccurate hypothesis. It will help children's behavior in the future. Many infants in the US are watching cartoons on television at most free times and they are considered to be exposed to various harmful scenes. Ensure that the child is alone in front of the TV so that you can see the manga you have chosen without the supervision of an adult.
