In today's society, most movies are for entertainment purposes. However, although some movies were for entertainment, they raised a controversy like Carlos Carrera's movie "Amalo's Father's Crime" (2002). This movie is widely known for its corrupt view on the Catholic Church and the young pastor, Father Amalo and other people are focusing on drug acceptance, short-lived naked sex, and abortion. Although the Carrera movie sparked a lot of debate, most of it caused corruption and controversy within the Catholic Church.
