Carleton College, known for its excellent educational background and warm and friendly campus community, is a small private liberal arts college located in Northfield, Minnesota's historic river city. Carlton offers 37 majors and 15 majors of art, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences, and has 2,055 undergraduates registered. The retention is 98%. All freshmen need to live on campus and about 90% of the students will stay in the student dormitory on campus or choose to share interesting rooms or campus townhouse.
