Carleton College, known for its excellent educational background and warm and friendly campus community, is a small private liberal arts college located in Northfield, Minnesota's historic river city. Carlton offers 37 majors and 15 majors of art, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences, and has 2,055 undergraduates registered. The retention is 98%. All freshmen need to live on campus and about 90% of the students will stay in the student dormitory on campus or choose to share interesting rooms or campus townhouse. In addition to 170 student organizations, in-wall sports such as Quidditch, broom, dodge, beach volleyball are popular among students. During the final study day for students to wear headphones and dance together in the library, the latest tradition is "silent dance".

It will take at least 15 semesters to complete an academic program approved. This should be obtained at Davis and Elkins College.
