Psychiatrists and neurologists have quite a level of education and doctors in specialized fields, but there are significant differences between these two occupations. The main difference between these experts is the patient's health problem and its treatment. Psychiatrists and neurologists meet with patients and discuss their medical problems. They should also review the patient's medical history and, if necessary, may need to undergo a medical examination to confirm that the patient is properly diagnosed. Other similar tasks that they may perform may include writing a drug prescription and updating the patient's medical file.
