The modern Cardiff Bay area has various restaurants, cafés and shops. When the sun comes out, you can easily explore here and relax. For adventurous persons, you can drive along the Cardiff Bay Balladge Coast Pass which is a wonderful way to see the crowded shipping traffic in the Bay. Customs' El Puerto: Customs occupies a unique place in Cardiff Bay. Located on the Penarth side, overlooking the barrage that protects the pier. The building itself is impressive, has a long history and wonderful water views. The Custom House - La Marina has two more restaurants for guests to enjoy and a more relaxed El Puerto Bistro.
