Why do some Christians agree to the death penalty? Some Christians believe that the Bible is already talking about conflict, but many believe that the New Testament has superseded the Old Testament law. Through the skill of the Old Testament, we can find many cases where God orders the use of the death penalty as well as our own actions. To some extent, God is directly or indirectly involved in the punishment of Israel and the lives of those who threaten or hurt Israeli cities. In Genesis 6-8 we talk about Noah and the flood.

In these Old Testament Bibles, we imposed a death penalty for crimes such as murder, kidnapping, parents' curse and so on. In fact, the order not to kill has nothing to do with the death penalty. The state (meaning Israel in the Old Testament) was given the power of God to execute offenders. God told Israel that the destroyed Canaanese committed the most serious crime. Do not regard these verses as slaughter of innocent people. This is God's judgment for the evil one. God is running criminals so that they can not pollute his people.

Anyone reading the Old Testament's 36 list can say that Judaism supports the death penalty, but they are wrong. While Jewish law acts as secular and religious jurisdiction, Jewish courts rarely condemn the death penalty. Israel has abolished the death penalty for any crimes that may be occurring at the moment.

The death penalty is always a matter of controversy, there are legitimate reasons. The Old Testament requires explicit repeat death sentences and many of Jesus and the teachings of other people in the New Testament are easy to condemn. Therefore, supporters and opponents of the death penalty have the Bible to refer to the beliefs that support them. The opponent uses creative stories to show that everything is created in God's statue. Genesis 1: 27a states that "God created man in his statue." Everyone needs to do their best to protect their lives. M. Margaret Falls said that we can not treat people as a tool for personal survival, success or realization.
