"Candide" is a satirical work written in 1759 by François-Marie Arouet (commonly known as Voltaire) and published by The Cramer Brothers the same year. Our teacher believes that we want to read these satirical works. Of course there is no affordable book. In order to really understand what happened, I spent most of the time reading most chapters. I think this is wonderful. It's not like reading an easy-to-understand book on 500 pages that leaves no impression on anything, even if you read a complex book on 30 pages, you can not read it.
