Through the new Campus Safety and Safety Report Manual, the US Department of Education renewed guidance on Disclosure of Jane Clair Campus Safety Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (often referred to as the Clear Act) throughout the year. However, many campus officials responsible for reporting on campus crime do not yet know how to comply with these changes. Inaccuracies and omissions may impose tens of thousands of dollars on the organization and the campus safety seems not to be a priority - it may affect student confidence and hinder adoption results
Campus Crime Report Manual In order to help the school fully comply with the Clerie Act, the department created the "Campus Safety and Safety Report Manual". This manual defines crime categories and reporting procedures, timely warnings and requirements for maintenance of daily crime logs. The manual is available at www.ed.gov/admins/lead/safety/campus.html. Report crime and fire prevention information on campus to ED Safety and Fire Safety Survey data collected through undergraduate Campus Safety and Security Survey website. At the end of each summer, the department sends letters and certificates to the school principal or chief executive officer. Suitable for victims of crime inside and outside the school. This report discloses in-campus security and security policy policies such as crime reports, alcohol and illegal drug use, crime prevention, sexual assault, access to campus facilities and safety policy. This report was also created in collaboration with local law enforcement agencies. Campus crime, arrest and referral statistics include data reported to the Public Security Bureau, designated campus staff, and local law enforcement agencies. Every year for all enrolled students, residents, faculty and staff, and school students every year to provide information on MSM's Annual Safety Report and Fire Safety Report online, or to obtain printed copies from the Public Security Bureau An email will be sent to the staff.
