Participating in various courses of local universities such as psychology, biology, literature, mathematics, I got further education and I was able to go on to university. I also participated in several courses through the Red Cross to obtain CPR / first aid and AED certification.
From application process, family research, interview to boot camp, I am honored to be a member of Andela Boot Camp. I must admit that this is not an easy journey, but I learn a lot in this process and understand the Andean better. I am also lucky to be part of the Android Learning Community Program ALCwithgoogle 0 Android Beginner Tracker and ALCWithgoogle Intermediate Android Development and is part of ALCWithMicrosoft Frontend Web Development Tracker.
The interview was very nervous. I was called by a small room at the corner of the building and interviewed by the two most respected people in the camp. At that time, Camp director Rob and business manager "violin" were the people who interviewed me. Rob and Fiddle have guided this camp for years. There is a little time to think about what to say in the interview. As my friends interviewed, I knew what they asked me and I know how to respond. After entering the room, I was asked some simple questions about my previous work and reconnaissance experience. I asked where I would like to work in the camp and also the work I would like. It is time to wait after answering these relatively simple questions.
I got an interview from the company developer of our (very good) meeting with our local free code camp team and said very good words to me. I had two interviews there, but recently I moved from the northeast to the Midwest, so I decided not to move to other cities. There are opportunities to get guidance by pairing with the people I met in the event. Now, I know that there are many people I can ask for help when I have a problem or are trapped in something. I had something in trouble once, but this time I do not remember the last trouble.
This week, LILA interviewed John of iD Tech. It offers STEM-based educational camps for children. The iD Tech camp is not a traditional summer camp, it is located in a famous university throughout the country. Some of the courses offered include coding, game design, photoshop, web design, camera and 3D print. The hotel accepts children between 7 and 17 years old. They also offer camps for girls. LILA is a big fan of 3D printing, and I want to know what children of iD Tech camp learn. John says that there are opportunities for campers to make fun projects like custom made rings, treasure chests, rocket boats. From using computer software to model objects to actual operation experiences using 3D printers, students learn the whole process of printing 3D objects.
