Christian Demonology studies devils from a Christian perspective. It is mainly based on the Bible (Old Testament and New Testament), interpretation of these verses, related traditions and legends combined with earlier Christian philosopher scriptures, hermit, and other beliefs. Since the early days of Christianity the devil developed from a simple acceptance of the existence of the devil to a complex study derived from Jewish devils and primitive ideas of Christian classics.
